Whether you’re new to the program or looking for a refresher, this course helps you navigate the complexities of CDBG compliance, funding eligibility, and subrecipient oversight—all in plain language. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to implement CDBG rules on a National Objective basis and how to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of CDBG entitlement grantees, subrecipients, partners, and service providers.
On the final day, you’ll take the CDBG Certification Exam, which covers key topics taught during the training—including CDBG national objectives, eligible uses of funds, grants management, and more. The online exam typically takes up to two hours to complete.
To complete the certification exam, please bring a laptop with Wi-Fi access.
