Training Information: By registering for and attending a training, you agree that you will not copy, share, post, or otherwise disseminate training or exam materials, including but not limited to posting on the internet, internal network, shared drive, or other publicly accessible means of access. Unauthorized distribution of TDA materials may result in the loss of your certification and/or legal action.
Hotel Recommendations: If provided, these are recommendations only, and TDA assumes no responsibility for the adequacy of accommodations. If a hotel room block recommendation is not provided, we suggest asking for a government rate when booking rooms.
Virtual Training Cancellations: If you are not able to attend a training, you may send a substitute or receive full credit toward a future training, to use within one year. Substitutions must be in writing on organization letterhead with the name of the training and attendee name and received by TDA at least seven (7) calendar days before the training start date. If you cancel your registration, you must notify TDA in writing at least 30 calendar days before the start date of the training. If you cancel less than 30 days before the start date of this training, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration fee will be applied. If you do not notify TDA in writing, you are responsible for the entire registration fee. TDA reserves the right to cancel training at any time. If training is canceled by TDA, registration fees will be refunded or credited in full.
In-Person Training Cancellations:
Effective for all in-person trainings scheduled on or after September 1, 2025:
If you are unable to attend an in-person training, you may:
- Send a substitute, or
- Receive full refund, only if cancellation is made more than 30 calendar days before the training date.
Substitutions must be submitted in writing on organization letterhead, including the training name, location, and the attendee’s name, and received by TDA at least ten (10) business days before the training start date.
If you cancel your registration, you must notify TDA in writing at least 30 calendar days before the training start date.
- No refunds or credits will be issued for cancellations made within 30 calendar days of the training date.
- If you do not notify TDA in writing, you are responsible for the entire registration fee.
TDA reserves the right to cancel in-person training at any time. If training is canceled by TDA, registration fees will be refunded or credited in full. TDA is not responsible for airfare, lodging, or other related expenses. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive a formal confirmation from TDA (your receipt is not a confirmation). We strongly encourage the purchase of refundable airfare.
Special In-Person Event Registration Refund Policy
Thank you for your interest in our training programs. Please review the following policy specific to this special event:
- Payment is due at the time of registration.
- This training is contingent upon reaching a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, the training will be canceled.
- In the event of cancellation, all registrants will receive a full refund to their original form of payment on the next business day following the cancellation decision.
- We recommend that you do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive formal confirmation from TDA, taking special note that a registration receipt does not constitute training confirmation.
- TDA is not responsible for airfare, lodging, or other related expenses. We strongly recommend purchasing refundable travel options.

Consulting Services: You agree that you have negotiated the scope of work and hours to be provided to complete the work. TDA will provide the consulting services using the identified consultant for the number of hours purchased. Changes to the scope of work may result in the need to purchase additional on-call consulting services.
Consulting Services Cancellations: If you cancel your order for consulting services, you may receive full credit toward future consulting services to be provided within one year. Otherwise, a cancellation fee of $150 will be assessed. Cancellations must be in writing on organization letterhead. TDA reserves the right to cancel consulting services in full or in part at any time. If consulting services are canceled by TDA, the number of unused hours purchased will be refunded or credited in full. TDA is not responsible for other related expenses.
